Privacy policy
How Dixon Youth Education and Sports collects, uses and protects personal information. Last updated: October 26, 2026.
What we collect
We collect information you give us through this website:
- Registration form: the program you choose; your child’s name, date of birth, gender, school, experience and T-shirt or jersey size; your contact details and address; an emergency contact; health information such as allergies, medical conditions and medications; your agreements, photo permission, and whether you’d like to talk about payment or financial assistance.
- Contact form: your name, email, phone number if you give it, and your message.
- Team bio form (for DYES coaches and volunteers): your name, role, bio and email, and a photo if you choose to send one.
How we use it
- To manage registrations and waitlists, and to place children in age groups.
- To keep children safe, including in a medical emergency.
- To contact you about your child’s participation or reply to your message.
- To use photos or videos of your child, only if you gave permission.
- To publish team bios on our website, only with the team member’s agreement.
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Only DYES staff and volunteers who need it to run our programs. Coaches can see the emergency and health information for children in their group. Forms on this website are delivered to our inbox by a form delivery service, Web3Forms.
How long we keep it
We keep registration information while your child takes part in DYES programs and for a limited time afterward for our records, then delete it securely. We keep contact form messages only as long as we need them to reply.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you or your child.
- You can withdraw photo permission at any time.
